Savannah is one of those places that made it to our recommendation list… but without any notes. It was not too far from our campground, so we took Meeko, jumped in the car and went to visit the historical district.
The coasts of the Carolinas, Georgia, and Florida have many swamps full of reeds, water channels, and rivers. The trees are special too, covered in Spanish moss, and there are more palm trees as you get closer to Florida.

Savannah is beautiful, especially its architecture, as well as its many parks, stunning trees, and historical vibe. We enjoyed getting “lost” on the streets. In photos:

Next we headed to Jekyll Island.
