After a couple of nights spent in two different places on the road, we got close to Houston, Texas. Since we weren’t planning to stay long this time, we decided to boondock at Fort Anahuac Park, just east of Houston. We arrived right before sunset and, to our surprise, had the entire park to ourselves. We chose a spot near the water and set up camp just as the sun was setting.

What a wonderful finding!
