Today is the big day

… when we are finally heading towards United States.

It’s been a while since we updated this site… and we are far behind sharing all our wonders from our travels within Eastern Canada. A blog of this kind is actually a lot of work, we have hundreds and hundreds of photos and videos taken, so just that it takes a while to sort/clean/decide which of the 10 photos of Meeko we want to keep. 🤣

To summarize our past 2 months: we got back to Mont-Tremblant on September 23 and stayed there until the camping closed mid-October. Meeko had his surgery 🌰🌰✂️ at his local vet, so we stayed there while he recovered. It was a tough month since the weather started deteriorating, getting colder and colder, raining almost every day, so we had to stay inside. That can be tough in a trailer without pull-outs (some trailers have a side that can be “pulled-out”, creating more interior living space).

For the past month, we stayed at Pascal’s sister. Our trailer was in service to fix a bunch of small stuff before our trip to US, but most importantly: deal with a recall of the A/C unit that could catch fire. Everything was fixed last Friday. We have been quite active during this month, helping Pascal’s sister and brother-in-law to build their house: we built some walls, help install electricity and internet cable, giving a hand wherever we could. It was first time using an air nail gun: that was sooo much fun!

We also took a week just for us, a true vacation in the South. We went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We had such a great time!

We also took the time to visit family & friends, before hitting the road and continue our travels. First stop is Pennsylvania, then continue towards Virginia in the search for the nice, warm weather.

Stay tuned!

Cati & Pascal
