About Meeko

Meeko is a Mini Berneedoodle (a mix of Bernese Mountain Dog and Toy Poodle) who joined our family at the end of January 2024. From the moment we found out we were selected to get a puppy, we knew we couldn’t do our 1 year long project without him.

Favorite activities

• Playing fetch: Meeko likes to bring you his favorite toy, leave it at your feet and wait for you to throw it. There is the occasional bark when we are not as fast as he would like us to be. We are still working on managing his excitement and stay seated until we throw the toy… WIP 🙂
• Meeting New Friends: Meeko is very social and loves meeting other dogs and people during our travels. He is particularly attracted to kids. In the end, he loves attention so much that he lets anyone pet him and scratch his chest.
• Exploring: Whether it’s a new park or a hiking trail, Meeko is always eager to discover new places. He is courageous and adventurous since he opened his eyes. Fun fact: this is one of the reason why the breeder paired him with us, as the perfect puppy for our project and lifestyle.

Personality

Meeko is a curious and playful puppy with a friendly disposition. He is always eager to make new friends and loves being the center of attention.
